25 weeks 1/31/12

Natalie turned 25 weeks this week.  She got to try some peas this week.  Not a big fan but it is only the first time and we are persistant.  We also tried avocados again.  She liked it a little bit but also not her favorite.  Bananas remain her favorite food thus far.  I can't believe that she is almost 6 months.  The time has flown by.  She is getting a lot bigger and stronger.  She hasn't really been too interested in rolling over unless we help and tummy time is not her thing, but she can hold her head up pretty well and can sit up with some help.  We are getting there.  Here she is with me.  There is a reason you don't see my face very often because I take terrible pictures.

She wasn't very happy when we were taking her photos this week so this is the best we got.  This is with a little help from Daddy.

She is grabbing on to things really well now.  She will pick some toys up as well.  Everything goes in her mouth.

Here's Rocky taking a snooze.

Here she is at daycare propped up with boppy pillows.  She really enjoys it there and has a lot of fun with the other kids.

My mom had mentioned something about taking a picture of her teeth.  This is a really hard thing to do because anything that comes near her mouth she wants to eat.  This took me about 3-4 tries to get this photo.  If you click on it, it will make it bigger so you can see the 2 bottom teeth.

Friday was Daddy and Natalie day.  They took a lot of photos together.  He also had her do some tummy time and she was actually ok with it.  Amazing!!

Yucky peas!

Isn't she beautiful?

MONSTER BABY!!!

I really hope she keeps those beautiful blue eyes like her momma.

She has been doing this thing with her lips where she is trying to blow raspberries.  She mostly just spits but it is super cute.  Chris tried to take some photos of it.

Here she's doing it again.

This is a little blurry but she is able to sit up pretty much on her own....

....until she falls over.

Here is the cardigan so far.  I really like knitting kid sized stuff because it goes so quickly.  The colors look pretty good together.  I am really excited to be finished and for her to be big enough to wear it.

Natalie has a lot of toys that are overtaking the house.  Chris decided to make a toy box for her.  He started and finished the box yesterday without any plans.  It looks awesome and it is really big so all of her toys that she has now and the ones that are yet to come will fit in here.
