45 Weeks - 6/19/12 & 46 Weeks 6/26/12

Natalie turned 45 weeks last week.  She hasn't started crawling but we may be close.  She has been standing quite a long time now.  As I started taking the photos, she started in on the blocks.  She can't keep from getting them.  She is continuing her throwing stage and started launching them off the couch.  This morning I gave her a frozen teething ring as we were leaving to go to day care.  As we were driving, I heard the ring fly to the other side of the car.  Yikes!  Don't get in this kids way.

I put this one in because she has started this thing with the tongue.  Mostly when she is standing.  It is pretty funny.

This picture was just funny.  What is that face?  Also if you notice we are down to 5 eks instead of 45 weeks.

And of course the cutest one of them all is the one without the letters.  Oh well.

This week she turned 46 weeks and we went to visit Daddy in Hampton becuase he had to work late.  We decided to take her picture on the beach.  She is just too darn cute.

This is the best one where she is looking up at her daddy.  She loves him so much.

Friday, Dad had some fun with Natalie.  She loves her food.  We have pretty much progressed to eating finger foods.  We tried some purees the other day and she was not happy about that.  We have also been trying to get her to take the sippy cup.  It is kind of working but it is going slowly.

We had an update on the phone and it changed some ways that the camera works.  We haven't been able to figure out the zoom on it.  Leave it to the girl that loves the iPhone to figure it out.  She put her 3 fingers on the screen and zoomed in and snapped this photo of herself.  What a smarty pants.

Here she is with her Daddy again.

She loves standing in her crib.  She doesn't get up on her own but we we put her there.  She just rocks back and forth.

Sunday we went up to visit Grandmy Jean, Grandpy Dan, Auntie Christina, Uncle Bob & Cousin Kellan.  She had a fun day.  She went for a boat ride.  Mom missed it because she was exhausted.  Apparently Natalie was too and fell asleep on the boat.  Guess it is kind of like the car.
Grandpy Dan and Kellan were on the boat too.  Looks like they were both having a fun time.

Today we had a crazy thunderstorm.  We have a brook in that goes through the back yard.  Whenever it rains it overflows like crazy.  Most of the backyard overflows but once it stops raining it quickly recedes.
This is looking towards the road.  The water line was all the way to the middle of the flower garden to the left of the tree.  It was about 3/4 of the way up to the bottom of the screen.

This it the pile of debris that was on the ground including a big limb.  Not sure if someone took it out or it was dumped out because of the water.  Crazy.

We had a good week.  This weekend will be fun.  Dad has a disc golf tournament in Killington VT this weekend.  Natalie, Rocky and I are heading to Westmoreland to visit her Rancourt Family.  We are having a family reunion.  Should be fun and I will try to take a lot of pictures.  Have a good week.

44 weeks - 6/12/12

Natalie turned 44 weeks this past week.  She is doing really well.  It seems she is getting a few more teeth.  We had a busy week.  Grammy & Grandpy Rancourt were camping in Hampton Beach this past week.  We visited on Monday night and also again on Friday to have lobster.  She, of course, did not have any lobster.  She enjoyed herself on the beach.  See the pictures at the end.  We did make Natalie aware that Grammy & Grandpy camping is much different than Mommy & Daddy camping.  Hopefully she doesn't get a rude awakening when we go camping in a couple of weeks.

I finally got some smiles on these pictures.

She had some fun with her Daddy this Friday.

We tried Grammy's hat on her and she was not happy about it.  She hates hats anyway and this was a giant one.

Grammy bought this little chair at a yard sale about a month ago.  It is a perfect fit and even has a cup holder.

She loved hanging out by the fire.
Chris got me a subscription to a magazine named Kiwi.  It is a organic living for kids magazine.  They had a  contest for America's Cutest Green Baby.  I entered Natalie and found out Friday that she is one of the 25 finalists.  Here is the link to be able to vote as many times as possible.  The voting will be open until 6/30.  http://www.kiwimagonline.com/2012/06/americas-cutest-green-baby-finalists/
Have fun!!
Hope all are doing well.

10 Months - 6/9/12

Natalie turned 10 months this past Saturday.  She has been doing so well.  She is not moving yet but she has been really getting good at standing on her legs.  We really think she is going to skip crawling and go to walking.
We had some fun with the photo shoot this week.  A couple of months ago, my mom and I went to a knitting place in Northampton, MA and got a really cool book on knitting veggies, fish, and bugs.  I started off with this carrot.  It is a bit big but she really likes playing with it.

We finally remembered the bear!!

Saturday we went out to Portsmouth and visited Market Square day.  It was pretty packed.  Chris had a massage scheduled for Friday, and Ms Natalie did not cooperate so he rescheduled for Saturday.  It was such a gorgeous day to walk around.

When we got home, we hung out with Rocky on the front porch.

Rocky was trying to give her some kisses.
Natalie and I having some fun the other day.  This was before it got nice - note the long sleeves.  She had a fleece dress and leggings too.  None of that now.

Chris went to the Red Sox game last week.  His friend got free tickets so invited him.

Rocky loves my giant pillow in the closet.
We are doing well.  Natalie is getting more teeth this week.  The 5th one popped up today.  She has been having a runny nose and a bit of diaper rash so we knew something was coming.
We are doing well.  Hope all is well with everyone.

42 Weeks - 5/29/12

Natalie turned 42 weeks this past week.  We had her 9 month appt.  No shots, thank goodness.  She was 18lbs even, 26.5" long and had a head circumference of 45 cm.  The doctor asked if she was crawling and we said no.  He said she had good muscle tone.  She is getting really good at standing up with some help and even today, she held on the coffee table with no one holding her for at least 15-20 seconds.

Last week was not a good one for Mommy.  Monday night, I started getting a sore throat.  Tuesday was a personal day for me, so I laid low and did some cleaning.  Wednesday, I went into work but wasn't feeling great.  Early Thursday morning, I woke up with a nasty cough and a wicked sore throat.  I ended up staying home on Thursday.  Chris had gotten home at 4am so he had the day off too.  Natalie went to daycare and we stayed home to recover.  She had a great day.  Shannon texted me this photo of her hanging outside with her friends.
She is so cute!!
By Friday, I was feeling better.  My parents came up on Thursday night because they were babysitting on Friday.  They really enjoyed going to Natalie's swim class.  She did so well.  We may take another one in the fall.  Friday morning after swim class, Chris and his 2 friends headed up to Auburn, ME to camp out and play in a disc golf tournament.  As you can imagine, it was less than perfect.  It was rainy and cold all weekend.  Luckily they had the use of our new tent that kept them pretty dry.

These are their disc golf bags lined up with their discs they received for playing in the tournament.

This was left out Saturday night while it rained and it filled right up to the top.  About 4 inches of rain.  Yikes!

We didn't do much on Saturday, because Natalie had a bit of a cold :(  She was sneezing all day and had a runny nose.  She didn't nap all that well that day either.  She made up for it on Sunday.  We had our first theatre experience.  Our friend Nate played the piano in this one man play in Portsmouth.  As long as Natalie popped her cheerios, she did fine.  Everybody loved that there was a almost 10 month old there.  Then we went out to eat at a place called Street.  They serve street food from around the world.  It was pretty good.

I am feeling a bit better now which is good.  Still coughing a bit but not too bad.  Rocky is still here and doing well.  Hope this finds all well.

Also - for the few that read this, we are having a celebration at our house on 8/11/12.  It is kind of a birthday party, but we do NOT want gifts.  Just want some friends to hang out and celebrate summer and Natalie.  Let us know if you can attend.
