Wooh! Life has been a little hectic with the holidays. Sorry about the long delay between posts. A whole lot has happened since the beginning of November. We had Thanksgiving at our house, Christmas in Alton and Westmoreland, we have some progress in walking and Chris and I got to go to a Patriots playoff game courtesy of Dan Baker. We also had my birthday, Kellan's birthday, New Years Eve, a new computer and some small adventures to local museums. It has been a lot but now lets get down to it.
We had her 15 month appt on 11/16. She was back up to the 25th percentile in weight which is good. If we can keep on this plane then we will be golden. Not sure how that is going to go now as she is not eating the greatest. But we will see. The day of her appt was crazy. I had taken the day off because Chris went to Rhode Island to compete in the last of the summer disc golf tournaments. We had swim class in the morning(which this session turned out to be a dud, the teacher wasn't the greatest. This was actually the last one we went to) Then, I had scheduled Rocky's vet appt at 1:45 in Alton. Next I had to drive back to Dover for 3:15 for Natalie's appt. It ended up all working out great because when I got to Alton, Grampa Dan was there to save the day. They were taking Rocky for the weekend because we were going up to visit our friend's Shauna and Greg in Stowe VT. To make a long story short, we made it on time.
This is Natalie at Shauna & Greg's house. We had about 28 people there for Thanksgiving. This is where Chris' great idea of getting Natalie a giant bear came from. It would be kind of cool.
We went to Concord to celebrate Kellan's 3rd birthday which was 12/7. We always try to get a Christmas photo with the 2 of them but somehow it doesn't always work out. One of them is always looking somewhere else. They are still cute though.
Mom & Natalie hamming it up in her towel and sunglasses.
Natalie got sick and then like the wonderful child she is passed it on to Chris and I. This was one day when she was in the throws of it and she just looked awful. So we had to take a photo, of course. Everyone is doing better. I pretty much had a cold off an on since Thanksgiving. I am in a good stretch, knock on wood.
Chris and his friend Travis thought it would be cool to take a road trip down south and hit all the disc golf courses. They thought of flying and then driving back, renting a car the whole way or renting an RV. Lo and behold this thing appears. This is Mini Home or Walter. A friend of Travis' was selling it. It is a 1979 Chevy and runs great. Very low mileage and sleeps about 4. Small but manageable. The guy that we bought it from was a mechanic so put a lot of new stuff into it. They are going on their trip in April so we will see how far it gets.
Photo op of the family.
Black Friday outfit that I got for Natalie.
Our Christmas tree. Ended up being yucky because it dripped sap every where. We actually had to throw out the lights because they were soaked with sap.
Natalie didn't really care about the tree. She just liked the stuffed lamb ornament that was on it. It was gone Christmas day so we could make room for Natalie's presents.
This was after the photo shoot (see photo down below) We were just not in a happy mood today. It was kind of cute to see all the food every where.
Pretty girl
Happy girl!
My parents came up one weekend and we went to the Seacoast Science Center. We got a half off membership and had to activate it by the end of the year. We have gone back a couple of times since then and she really enjoys checking out all the fish. She got to touch a small shark.
One big purchase that we made this winter was a new snow blower. Ours is old and the first whopper of a snow storm we got, the thing really couldn't get through anything, so we bought a new one. This is Natalie driving daddy's car on the night that we went to pick it up.
Here are some cute photos of Natalie at day care. This is the other little boy. They are looking out the window probably at the bus going by.
Here is Natalie and their dog Rona looking out the window.
Here is a video of Natalie walking. We are practicing every day. She is getting there. She still finds it way easier to crawl places. At least we have progress.
Here is the photo shoot that a friend and I went to. She was taking photos with Santa. She did ok saying hi to Santa while she was being held but the instant I put her on his lap, she started balling. I took her off and she stopped crying and smiled at Santa. Oh well.

This is at a place called Twice the Fun. There are trampolines, a basketball court, all sorts of play houses, a maze thing that you can climb in and a little kids play area with balls. Basically it is a place that your kid can go and destroy and you don't have to pick up after them. It is awesome. She loved the trampoline.
One night after we got home from daycare. Maybe a bath was in order as her hair is standing up and she has nothing in her hair. Ewww but cute!
Here is the ball pit at Twice the Fun.
This video makes me laugh every time I watch it. She is just so awesome!!
She sees herself in the oven door at day care
This is a bib I made for our friend Riley
One of the many dish cloths I made.
Wool socks I made for Chris
A different pattern for the dish cloth
The other color for the dish cloths
Here is a picture of the yard after the crazy snowstorm we got right after Christmas. We got about 14 inches in the first storm and about 6ish inches in the second storm. Now you know why we had to get a new snowblower. Yikes!
Out of the blue, we get a phone call from Chris' dad offering us tickets to the Patriots playoff game on 1/13/13. What a fabulous gift. It was an amazing experience. We picked a great game and day because we had great weather and they won!! Glad we didn't go to last nights game.
This is before you get into the stadium.
A panoramic pic of where we were sitting.
The players warming up. We were that close. We had the option to be in the 4th row but I thought sitting further back would enable you to see more of the field. Of course I was right. Also, I think we would have been a bit embarrassed to sit in the 4th row as neither of us had any Patriots garb.
Here's a video of the game.
The guy next to us took our picture. He was a season ticket holder which was the case for most of the people around us. He was cool to talk to. He had been going to the game since 1977.
Our tickets.
Tailgating before hand. See those empty spaces. Those were filled up in a matter of minutes. It was crazy the amount of people that were there. Also those people were way more prepared than we were. They had tvs and barrels for fires and bean bag games. Crazy stuff.
Rocky being cute all curled up on the blanket.
On black Friday I went to Petco to get Rocky some food. They were giving away antlers for free. Can you believe it? So funny. He hated it of course.
Natalie's crazy parents.
So, Chris surprised me with a really cool day in Portsmouth for my birthday/Christmas present. He had sent me a cryptic text with everything that was going on. I didn't really get it until the day of. First I got a massage, then he gave me money to spend in a cool little shop downtown. I go the purse I am holding. Next was supposed to be sushi but they didn't open until pretty late so we had brunch at Radicci's instead. We had eaten there before. It is really yummy. Last was a show at the Seacoast Repertory Theater called Plaid Tidings. It was 4 guys singing barbershop quartet like performing a play. It was really funny and a lot of fun. It was a great day except that it started to snow and was freezing by the time we left. Oh well.
Here is the walk back to our car after we got out of the theatre.
We had Thanksgiving at our house this year. My panorama didn't come out that great because you have to keep the camera in one straight line. My dad's head was cut off and Dan has a giant arm. Also you can't see Natalie in the photo. Oh well. We had a good day. We had some golden oldies as well as some new stuff. I think everyone enjoyed themselves.
We cut our own Christmas tree.
The day Chris took me to Portsmouth, Jean and Dan babysat for Natalie. They made cookies. Natalie was pretty good at most of it until...
Natalie got some cute clothes,
and a couple of dolls,
and a Kitchen! Auntie Christina is wearing her new scarf too.
Here we are at the Rancourt's for Christmas
She found a drawer full of towels that she found endless excitement in just pulling them out and throwing them on the floor.
She got a corn popper.
Rocky always has to be in the middle of everything. Mom and Dad got a new pots and pans set. It is awesome.
This is a santa that my family has had for many years. I think it dates back to my grandparents because it is holding a coke. My grandfather used to work for the Coke plant in Keene, NH. We were trying to get a picture of Natalie and Santa together. She wasn't really having it so we were being sneaky.
Here is Natalie with Rocky's antlers.
Uncle Chad gave her a shopping cart to go with her kitchen.
She also got a desk/easel. And some really cool giant lego blocks.
You can see why the tree had to go. A kitchen had to go there. We ended up moving the book case that was on the right wall into the dining room to make way for Natalie's stuff.
On New Year's Day, we went up to Concord. Bob and Christina live about 500 ft from White Park which has this nice sledding hill. Kellan went sledding in the tube and we brought Natalie's sled with us. She and dad went down the hill together. She actually really liked it. If you click on the photos, there are a couple of them that you can see her smiling.
Like this one.
Here are her 17 month photos. It is hard to keep her away from her play area so I just set the blocks up on the toy chest and took her photo like that.
Her and Rocky checking out the alphabet.
